Testimonials
Many of my students achieved excellent results in the chemistry exams, which helped to enroll them into the famous NUS. The following are the testmonials from three of my students, who obtained A grade in the A level chemistry exam.
Albert, Liu Tianyu (Material Engineering, NUS, 2012)
Mr. Ma is one of my favorite tutors
in Singapore. During his class, I could always catch the key points
and know what sort of questions may appear in exam after
understanding his explanation. Moreover, he was always well prepared
and offered us sufficient materials for practice. I could always have
a better understanding after the practice. After class, he also
shared the Chemistry knowledge outside of textbook with us, which
expanded our horizon. I was a “question” boy who always asked a
lot, but he was very patient to me and tried his best to answer.
He even helped us to excavate our interest and gave us advice in our
academic life, just like what an elder brother does. Before the
exams, he came to talk with us one by one, in order to help us
overcome the panic and remind us the mistakes we always made. To me,
he is not only a tutor but also a friend who has common interest in
academic field and an elder brother who always care about me. Many
thanks for his help in both my progress in A-level’s study and I
believe that anyone can get a satisfying A-level chemistry result as
long as he can meet Mr. Ma’s requirements in learning.
Shang Menglin (Biological Engineering, NUS, 2012)
Mr
James is a responsible and dedicated teacher who always tries to
solve problems for his students. During the whole process of teaching
me, he often gives us a direction and guides us to find the answer by
ourselves instead of providing solutions directly. This has greatly
practiced my ability to handle new kinds of questions once they
appear in exam paper. In addition, he is also good at emphasizing key
points, helping us a lot in how to answer a question properly.
Furthermore, he often sends us additional materials to deepen our
understanding in some specific areas. As a result, we can think
independently and use our knowledge to solve questions properly.
Edmond, Gao Zhenyu (Mechanical Engineering, NUS, 2013)
Mr. Ma is a dedicated tutor, and with his help I obtained A grade in A level chemistry examination in 2013. I benifited a lot from his teaching and guidance in the following two aspects. Firstly, I was welcome to ask many questions in my study of chemistry. You'll find James are very knowledgeable and 'reliable'. If you don't ask him some questions, you'll never really know him. Before asking, try to explore, solve and develop those questions. With his answers in details, I cleared my doubts on chemisty in my mind and got satification by his kindness and encouragement. Secondly, he helped me a lot to do the review of the topics by summerizing the content I learned here and in China. With his efficient summary of the topics, I grasped the key points easily and was able to attacked difficult questions. In a word, please trust Mr. Ma, and you will learn a lot form him.
